Aditya here. I’m a Data Scientist who likes building things on the side.
After I left Grab and started applying to different roles, I noticed I was doing the exact same thing for every single application: open a ChatGPT window, paste in my resume, tweak a bullet point or two to match that posting, copy the result back out, repeat. Multiply that by dozens of applications and it’s hours of repetitive manual work for something that should just happen automatically.
Two things felt broken about job searching once I looked closer: resumes get sent out generic and filtered by ATS systems matching against the actual JD, or “optimized” by AI that happily invents achievements and metrics you never had. That falls apart the moment someone asks about it in an interview.
So VettaCV is built around three rules we don’t break:
Tailor, don’t template. Paste a job description and it rewrites the fields that actually matter for that role, without ever inventing a number or achievement that isn’t already in your resume. Practice before it’s real. AI mock interviews so the first hard question you face isn’t in front of the actual hiring manager. You’re not doing this alone. Building a community forum.

VettaCV was hunted by Aditya. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. P.S. This started as a side project. Now I’m exploring LLM cost optimization next, so happy to chat if you’ve hit pain points there.
