I built Veto after watching how fast AI agents are starting to spend real money - paid APIs, subscriptions, crypto, cards - with basically nothing standing between "the model decided to" and "the money's gone."
Most tools watch agent spending and alert you after the fact. That never sat right with me. I wanted something that could actually say NO in the moment it matters most - a hard stop, not a dashboard you read the next morning.
So Veto is an enforcement layer, not a monitor. You create a simple policy (per-transaction caps, daily/monthly limits, merchant allowlists, time windows, blocked categories). Every payment an agent tries to make gets checked against it and is allowed, denied, or escalated to you. On crypto rails the block is enforced on-chain - an out-of-policy transaction literally can't go through. And every decision produces a signed receipt you can verify later.
It's CLI, API, and MCP-native, so it drops in front of pretty much any agent.
