I'm one of the makers behind Verifeed.
A few months ago, a colleague on our media intelligence team needed outlet lists for three new markets — by country, by beat, ready for a client brief by Friday. What followed was exactly what you've probably lived through: tab after tab, a shared spreadsheet that hadn't been updated since 2022, three different people sending three different "definitive" lists, and no easy way to know if half those sites were even still publishing.
We looked for something that solved that specific job — not journalist outreach, not a $5k media database, not another monitoring dashboard. Just: find the right outlets, confirm they're real, export the list, move on. We couldn't find it. So we built Verifeed.
