Verdict
Is that AI tool still alive? A dated, sourced registry
Verdict tracks the life-status of AI and SaaS tools (alive, price-hiked, degrading, sunset-announced, or dead) with a date and source on every status. Reachability is re-checked twice a day, a "dead" verdict is only set by a human, plus a Mortality Report and migration guides.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
Over the past year I kept hitting the same wall: you pick a good AI or SaaS tool, and a few months later it's shut down, tripled its price, or quietly got worse. The "best AI tools" listicle you found it on was written once and never updated.
So I built Verdict to answer one question: is this tool actually still alive and worth it right now?
Every tool gets a dated, sourced status. A few things I care about:
- Reachability is re-checked twice a day, from two separate servers.
- A "dead" verdict is only ever set by a human, never an automated ping.
- No visitor IPs stored.
- There's a public status API, an RSS feed of status changes, and a Mortality Report of tools that shut down, with migration guides.
It tracks 200+ tools across AI writing, video, voice, meeting notes, outreach, marketing, and support, plus a Russian edition.
It's early and I'd genuinely love your feedback: what tools should I add, and would you check something like this before picking one? Tear it apart 🙏

Who hunted Verdict ?
Verdict was hunted by Sergei. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
