VerbX Travel helps travellers communicate across languages by voice, camera, text, and offline mode. Use it to speak with locals, read menus and signs, access destination phrasebooks, get cultural context, and handle travel situations even when connectivity is weak. Travel works on time-based passes, so once a trip pass is active, there are no coin or credit interruptions mid-journey
We built VerbX Travel around a simple problem we kept seeing: language barriers become most frustrating when someone is already in an unfamiliar place and needs to act quickly.
Ordering food, explaining something to a taxi driver, reading a sign, asking for directions, or handling an emergency can become unnecessarily difficult when the traveller and the person helping them do not share a language.
Our approach evolved from building another translation screen into designing around the actual journey.
VerbX Travel combines bi-directional voice translation, camera and OCR translation, destination phrasebooks, offline language packs, cultural context, and travel-focused assistance in one app. Different trip passes unlock the product for the period someone actually needs it, without introducing coins or usage deductions in the middle of the trip.
We also designed it for more than solo travellers. The Travel product supports agency and group use cases alongside individual trips.
We would especially like feedback from people who travel across languages regularly:
where does language still create the most friction during a trip?
