Velox Browser
privacy-focused browser engine with deep Tor integration
Velox is a lightweight, privacy-hardened browser built on a "Midnight Cyber" architecture. Unlike standard browsers that prioritize telemetry, Velox focuses on total network obfuscation by utilizing integrated Tor tunneling and aggressive, hardware-level tracker elimination. My goal was to create a clutter-free, zero-trace environment for users who demand absolute anonymity without the overhead of heavy, bloated software.
Hi everyone! I’m excited to share Velox Browser with the community. I built this because I wanted a browsing environment that stripped away the constant surveillance and telemetry found in modern browsers. It’s an open-source, Tor-integrated tool designed for simplicity and stealth. I’ve kept it lightweight by focusing on a "less is more" approach. I’d love to hear your feedback, thoughts on the security architecture, and any suggestions you might have to improve it further. Thanks for checking it out!
This looks really promising for anyone serious about privacy. One thing I'd love to see is a built-in tab container system, so you can isolate different identities or sessions from each other inside Velox itself. It would complement the Tor tunneling nicely and make it easier to manage multiple anonymous profiles without juggling extensions.
the focus on zero telemetry and tor tunneling straight out of the box is honestly a refreshing move, no bloat, no clutter, just a clean path to actual anonymity.
Surprisingly snappy for something running Tor under the hood, and the default tracker-blocking seems aggressive in a good way. Curious how it holds up on sites that fingerprint aggressively.
