Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Gaoliang, maker of Velo Workspaces.
I kept hitting the same wall: I wanted to test something destructive — a risky config change, an untrusted script, a fresh install — without touching my main Mac, and every VM tool I tried felt like it was built for running "another OS" as a novelty, not for actual engineering work.
So I built Velo Workspaces around two things I actually needed:
🧠 AI Bridge — run inference on your Mac's own GPU, then reach it from inside a Linux workspace as a plain local endpoint. No API keys, no cloud, no usage costs. In my own benchmarks, throughput inside the workspace was within ~4% of running natively on the host.
🗑️ Disposable Workspaces — clone a fully configured base image in seconds via copy-on-write, run your test or risky command, close it, and it's gone — disk included. No snapshot to remember to delete, no "did I leave something installed last time" doubt.
It's native macOS, built on Apple's own Virtualization framework — no account, no cloud dependency, everything stays on your Mac. One-time purchase, no subscription, no IAP.
