I'm Orion, the developer behind VELO Server.
I built VELO Server because I was tired of setting up local development environments every time I switched computers or started a new project. Existing solutions worked, but they often felt bloated, difficult to customize, or tied to a specific installer.
My goal was simple: create a portable development environment that you can carry anywhere, extract, and start using without spending time configuring everything from scratch.
VELO Server bundles the tools I use most-PHP, Nginx, MariaDB, Node.js, Python, Go, and more-while making it easy to launch projects like WordPress or Laravel. I also added Cloudflare Quick Tunnel integration so sharing a local project takes just a few clicks.
This is still an active project, and I'm continuously improving it based on feedback from developers.
