I’m the creator, and I wanted to share some technical background for anyone curious about how it works under the hood.
Why I built VelinStyle:
I wanted a framework that combines modern CSS (container queries, :has(), color‑mix(), view transitions), native Web Components, strong accessibility defaults, and a real security layer — without requiring a build step or heavy dependencies.
Technical highlights:
All Web Components are written in vanilla JavaScript
Shadow DOM is used only where it makes sense (dialogs, carousel, combobox, etc.)
Motion is powered by FLIP, rAF, and CSS keyframes
WCAG 2.2 layer: focus‑not‑obscured, target‑size, forced‑colors support
Security layer: sanitizer, Trusted Types, URL validation, secure frames
CLI tools: layout audit/fix (Flex/Grid), blueprint generator, icon system, scanner
Themes use OKLCH tokens + P3 color spaces
