I built Vast after one too many "vibe coded" PRs broke something nobody expected - you ask Cursor or Claude Code to change one file, and three services quietly break because nobody could see the dependency chain.
Vast connects to your GitHub repo, builds a dependency graph with tree-sitter, and shows you exactly what a change touches before you commit - cycles, god services, overloaded modules, all of it.
It went through a pretty big pivot to get here - started as a 3D architecture visualizer, ended up as a focused impact-analysis tool because that's the part people actually needed on a daily basis.
A couple of things worth knowing:
