I built this after the same thing happened to me one too many times. I had a prototype ready to show a client, and I spent 20 minutes figuring out how to share it instead of just sharing it. I'm a designer first so "just open your terminal" sounded like French for "you idiot, you don't know how to use GitHub?"
⛔️ The problem
Sharing a local prototype with a client is harder than it should be. Deploy it somewhere, set up a repo, ask a developer or just screen share and hope your internet holds. None of that is "here's a link to look at this thing I made."
And when you do get something shared, it just... sits there. A link that lives forever with client work that was never supposed to. Designers with NDA-bound projects or sensitive content shouldn't have to think about where their work ends up.

A 30 second turnaround is genuinely useful for those quick demo handoffs. One thing that would make it even better for me is letting me set a custom short alias for the link so the client doesnt get a random-looking URL they cant recognise or type back to me. Something like a 4-6 character custom slug that I pick when the link is created would be perfect.
love this concept, tested it with a vite dev server and the link worked instantly. one thing that would make it even better for me, a small qr code embedded in the share page so i can pop the preview onto my phone without typing the url. would also be handy to lock links with a simple passcode when sharing client work before launch.
Love how clean the flow is from folder drop to shareable link, no signup wall in the way. The expiry options at 1 hour and 24 hours feel like the right defaults for something this frictionless.
pasted my localhost port and honestly it just worked, got a link in like 20 seconds for my buddy to test. love that i can set it to expire in an hour so im not leaving random stuff exposed
This is super useful for quick demos. One thing I'd love: a password or simple access code option before someone can open the link, since sharing localhost to clients can feel a bit too open right now.
