Voice models sound great—but turning them into voice agents and scaling them reliably is hard. Vapi provides everything needed to build, test, and deploy a voice agent, all the way up to millions of calls. Join the community of 150,000+ developers today.
🗣️ Voice AI is taking off—but building reliable voice agents still takes most teams weeks or months of stitching together and scaling infrastructure. With Vapi, our goal is to compress that down to minutes. A single platform where developers can deploy and scale voice agents without wrangling telephony, speech models, or orchestration logic ☎️

What's New Since Our Last Launch
🔗 API Integrations: You can now connect Vapi to 100+ providers across transcription, LLMs, and TTS. We’ve also added integrations for SIP, cloud infra, observability tools, and native hooks into calendars, CRMs, and more.
🔧 Embedded Tools: Turn-taking orchestration, noise cancellation, voicemail detection, and a test rig for simulating complex call flows.
🎙️ Deep Customization: The assistant layer now includes a prompt composer, support for persistent memory, dynamic variables, real-time endpointing, multilingual output, OpenAI’s speech-to-speech model, and more.
📈 Infra at Scale: We’ve now powered over 44 million calls with <500ms latency. The system handles long calls (60+ minutes) and meets enterprise standards like HIPAA and SOC-2.
🔍 Query Tool for Knowledge Bases: Attach structured or unstructured knowledge to your agent for more contextually grounded responses.
⚙️ Conversational Workflows: Visually build out flows that split complex conversations into manageable, deterministic steps.
🛠️ Assistant Tools: Call transfers, hang-ups, data retrieval, voicemail detection, keypad dialing, plus automation integrations with tools like Make and GHL.
🧩 Observability: Integrated with Langfuse. See transcripts, call outcomes, engagement metrics, quality ratings, and success/failure evaluations.
🎤 Vapi Voices: We trained 10 new voices on actual human conversations. One of them is mine—curious which? You know what to do 🤙1-844-HEY-VAPI

Congrats to the Vapi team, Voice AI has awesome days ahead
OK - I just had one of those experiences where you start to play with something and immediately realise that a domain is now being lifted to a whole new level. A significant Wow moment. Can wait to delve even deeper but a big fan already.
Vapi was the first AI solution I used, and I loved it. I've implemented it across various use cases and businesses. It's a robust platform that helps other companies to increase revenue while saving time and costs. I wish you all the best!
can it be used by any non technical people like a no code tool to build voice agent?
Incredible platform. Feature rich, highly customizable with limitless possibilities for utility and integration with other systems. I've tried other platforms and keep coming back. In a lot of ways, I feel VAPI is really leading the charge when it comes to AI voice application. In a landscape that is ever-changing, and constantly evolving and hard to keep up with at times. This platform continues making strides forward and delivering on all fronts. It's certainly an exciting space to be working in. Hats off to the team @ vapi and of course it's passionate community. Wishing this amazing company many future successes!! 🚀🎉
Congrats on launching Vapi! Scaling voice AI agents reliably is a real challenge. How does Vapi handle latency and naturalness in real-time conversations, especially under high call volumes?
Loving VAPI – Super Flexible & Developer-Friendly!
I’ve been using VAPI since the early days, working closely with the dev community, and I have to say—this platform is awesome! The flexibility to build and experiment with new applications is next level. Everything just works smoothly, and it makes development so much easier.
What really stands out is how developer-friendly it is. The APIs are super intuitive, the docs are solid, and the team is actively listening to feedback. I’ve already built some cool stuff with it, and I’m really excited to see what new features are coming next!
We're an AI and automation company, https://aivoicemagic.com and https://audaxgroupllc.com and have been in this space for over two years. We had Air, SimpleTalk, Thoughtly, Synthflow, and others and Vapi performs the best by far. It's not as easy to use as other platforms, but the quality is next level. We're able to make money by helping our clients operate more efficiently and increase their bottomline. I'm writing this review because of my appreciation for Vapi and their support team, but the truth is I don't tell anyone about our "secret weapon."
Sub-500ms latency at scale is wild. Genuinely curious, how are you pulling that off consistently?
Back in January this year, I got familiar with Vapi during a Hackathon. Over the course of a day I was able to spin up an outbound voice agent integrated with a FastAPI backend aimed at helping students help learn better. Loved how fast I was able to build with it, get it running and demo with it.
Eager to now try on their new features. Keep it going Vapi team! Solute to the strong momentum.
Tried creating the entire phone agent pipeline ourselves, but here comes Vapi. Amazing so far.
@jordan_dearsley how to activate the "1,000 free minutes per month, for life." offer? 😅 Just created my account.
Best of luck to the team. True shippers.
I like how it integrates easily with developers and the startup plan seems even more enticing. Congrats on the launch!
Have used this product for creating ai interviews . Really great product from a consumer perspective.
Engineer at a startup and 10/10 would recommend VAPI for projects around voice AI
I love working with the VAPI platform's API. The VAPI platform is really helping us move fast in delivering product for our customers.
Echoing another point I've seen in this thread that I can't agree more with:
A16Z called it—2025 is the year of Voice AI. And just last week, one of the most respected tech CEOs in Silicon Valley said: “If you’re serious about building in Voice AI, you’re building on Vapi.”
I just played around with the agent… it’s incredible how it feels like I’m talking to a person. Excited to build with this!
