Hey Product Hunt! Jask here, solo dev behind Valdos.
I do Web3 security research — FHE, TEE, on-chain anti-fraud. One thing I kept running into: people asking me "is this crypto site / AI tool / SaaS landing page actually legit, or is it a scam?" I'd have to manually check domain age, DNS records, GitHub repos, pricing transparency, SSL headers... takes 15 minutes per site.
So I built Valdos to automate that into a single 0–100 score.
What it does:
You paste a URL. In under 10 seconds, Valdos checks 15+ signals — domain reputation (RDAP + DNS), security headers, GitHub open-source verification, AI-driven fraud analysis — and gives you a credibility score with an itemized breakdown of why.
Two modes:
• Audit (free, no signup) — trust score + fraud risk. "Will I get scammed?"
• Dissect (requires login) — business model analysis + IQ Tax Score. "Is this worth my money?" Detects fake testimonials, manufactured urgency, hidden pricing funnels, inflated claims.
What makes it different:
Most "website checker" tools just look at SSL certificates. Valdos goes deeper — it reads JS bundles for SPA content, cross-references domain intelligence, and uses AI to flag social engineering patterns. The asymmetric scoring model means a polished UI can only get you so far — the data layer is the ceiling.
Honest disclosure: Valdos is a one-person project. I built the scoring engine myself and dogfood it daily. The free tier gives 5 audits/day, no credit card needed. Feedback brutal and welcome.
How does the scoring actually work when a site stacks a ton of third-party trackers, does that tank the credibility even if the content itself is solid?

Who hunted Valdos?
Valdos was hunted by Jask Don. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
