The UVShield App is family focused and risk reduction focused to lower risk of sunburn and long-term melanoma risks. I also donate 10% of all ad and subscription profits to melanoma research every year. Key Features: - Live UV Index Alerts - Sunscreen reapply, sun exposure, and custom timers -Add family & friend #s to set timers and send reminders to loved ones -Skin tone selection for accurate burn estimates -Search any location and see the 12-hr forecast
My wife and my fair skin daughter are the inspiration for developing this app. With skin cancer having affected our close family and the millions of things to do and remember for when you have kids, building this app helps remove needing to remember one more thing. Alerts and timers go straight to your phone or smart watch to know when the UV is too high or you need to reapply that sunscreen.
