I built use.fo because I kept losing momentum every time I had to turn a rough thought into usable text.
Voice typing is fast, but raw transcripts are usually messy. AI writing tools are useful, but they pull you out of the app you were already using. use.fo combines both into one desktop workflow: hold a hotkey, speak naturally, release, and polished text is pasted right where your cursor already is.
It works across macOS and Windows, in Gmail, Slack, Notion, docs, browsers, editors, and regular desktop apps. You can use it for quick dictation, cleaner work messages, emails, translations, social posts, and prompt-style outputs for image or video tools.
The goal is simple: make speaking feel like typing, without the cleanup step.

Actually works better than I expected. The voice recognition is pretty spot on and it doesn't mess up the formatting too much. Nice job!
