Hey Product Hunt, I built Use By because food expiry tracking felt like something that should be much simpler.
I didn’t want a full grocery platform, meal planner, barcode system, or shared household app. I just wanted to know what’s in the fridge and what needs using first.
Use By is intentionally small:
* add food quickly
* group by fridge, freezer, or pantry
* see what expires soon
* mark items used, frozen, extended, or removed
No account, no subscription, no backend. Just a paid local utility.
