πŸ‘‹ Hey community! Thank you for checking out our project. URLR is a URL shortener that put a strong focus in GDPR compliancy, is reliable and have some unique features! We have a free plan and some paid plans for advanced use-cases. It started in 2019, and I wrote the story behind it in this IndieHackers post that had some success: https://urlr.me/5Kvd8 It would be amazing if you can try URLR and find a great utility to it to improve your brand image and trust. 🚨 And you know what? There is a great promo code (and the first one since the beginning of the project) for this special launch: 30% for 3 months with the code PH30MAY until June 15th, 2023 πŸ™ I look forward to your feedback on URLR and I will be happy to answer all your questions!

What about SMS filtering by telcos? One reason we had to give up on URL shorteners was because AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon etc. started filtering text messages (SMS) containing bit.ly, tiny.url etc. I suspect this will be subject to the same filtering eventually. One problem with URL shorteners is that recipients cannot see where they end up, and therefore a great way for scammers to send fishing attempts.

Oh boy, here I thought there can't be anything new in this space for the next, like, THOUSAND years or so. I love your domain. It doesn't get shorter than this.

Solid product man, good thinking here. This is something people will actually and definitely use.

Hello Hugo, congratulations with the launch!!! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ Really enjoyed reading your story on Indiehackers. As a Marketeer being active in Europe it is amazing to find your UX-friendly URL shortener takes into account the European privacy laws.

I love this! Compliance often gets eyerolls and people find it difficult to deal with, but it is so important. Great idea and good luck with this!

Great work Hugo! Hope you have an awesome launch and get a lot of traction from the EU companies πŸ‘Œ πŸ‘Œ

Sounds like a no-brainer for marketers who love European laws. Unfortunately, that's not me. But it could be you...
