Uprelic Strom
Vision decision model specialized for business. In ~200 ms.
Strom answers yes/no, multiple-choice and score questions about text and images - it's inspired by Jev. It's fast, it's cheap, and every answer comes with a calibrated confidence. And it is hosted in the EU. 🇪🇺
When Jev was launched, I was amazed. But I was also annoyed that there was no decision model around that is being hosted in the EU. Strom changed that.
We're a bit surprised, getting picked so quickly. So with no prep time you are get everything raw.
Small decision models lose accuracy. Large ones need datacenter GPUs and heavy post-training. None of the open models matched Jev overall, and Jev can't see images. For some clients the data had to stay in the EU. So we trained our own model and continuously doing so. And now it's an API Strom 1.0.7.
Please share all the needs you have, any feedback is valuable for us.
