I'm Khoi, co-founder of Upivia, building this with my co-founder Shah.
We kept running into the same problem building agents for our own work: give an agent a budget and a set of permissions "in the prompt," and it holds up right until it doesn't. A misconfigured loop overspends. An agent with slightly-too-broad access gets prompt-injected into doing something it shouldn't. Nobody notices until the bill or the postmortem.
So we built the thing we wished existed: a gate that sits between your agents and every action they take. You set a budget, set what services an agent can touch, set an approval threshold if the cost gets high enough — and every single request gets checked against that before it executes, not after. Blocked, approved, or logged, every time, with a full audit trail.
It's not another agent framework and it doesn't touch how your agent thinks or plans. It just makes sure that whatever your agent decides to do, it can only do what you actually authorized — email, SMS, voice calls, browser automation, code execution, RAG, and many other services out of the box, plus bring-your-own-API for anything custom. Works over MCP if that's how you're already wiring things up.
