the long goal for us is a coach that can watch any sport you do through your phone camera and talk to you like a friend would, and upfit is the first step of it, bodyweight workouts at home.
you stand your iphone on the floor, step back until it sees all of you, and it counts your reps and tells you out loud what to fix while you are moving, so you never have to look at the screen. pose tracking runs on the phone itself and the video is never recorded or uploaded.
what it can’t do yet: it doesn’t check knees caving in or a rounding back, floor moves only work side-on, and it is iphone and english only. some cues will be wrong too, i tested the moves myself and still found thresholds that are too strict for some bodies.
