I’ve developed a simple chat app called Unseenchat. After signing up, you can share a QR code from the app with someone you’d like to chat with. They can scan it with their iPhone camera and start chatting with you right away—no app download required, so there’s no need to persuade them to install it. This feature currently supports one-on-one chats only.
We all know that software is usually handled by specialists in different areas. Since I built this app entirely on my own, there are inevitably issues with animations, interactions, whether the UI could look better, and whether messaging is secure and private enough. While preparing the App Store listing, I did my best to remove technical jargon I considered unfriendly—users don’t want to see bullshit like a “403” error. Of course, I hope you’ll download and try it and give me some feedback. I’ll stay up all night fixing bugs, like everyone else does.

Who hunted Unseenchat?
Unseenchat was hunted by HuangZuoJie. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
