I built SmartQR because I felt QR codes had become unnecessarily complicated.
I wanted a simple way for businesses to create different types of QR codes, organize them, update destinations when needed, and understand how people were using them.
What started as a simple QR generator gradually evolved into a platform with multiple QR types, folders, templates, bulk operations, analytics, and CSV export.
The biggest realization during development was that generating a QR code is only the beginning. Businesses need to manage the codes they create and understand what happens after someone scans them.
That's what we're building with SmartQR — making QR codes more useful, manageable, and measurable for businesses.
