I'm Vincent, CEO and co-founder of UniAfriX. I built this with my co-founder Nathaniel Selasie Boafo from Ghana.
Here's the problem we set out to solve: African esports tournament organizers waste 70% of their time managing registrations on WhatsApp, tracking brackets on Excel, and chasing results across Discord. The scene is massive — 400M+ gamers across Sub-Saharan Africa — but the infrastructure holding it together is held together with tape.
We spent months building the platform we wished existed. One place where African competitive gamers can compete in tournaments, build a verified reputation, coordinate with their community natively, watch live matches, and challenge each other to casual P2P lobbies — without ever leaving the platform.
We're launching public beta month at uniafrix.com with our first anchor communities in Ghana. No VC funding. No corporate backing. Just three founders who believed African esports deserved world-class infrastructure built from the inside.
