Hiring is broken. CVs compress years of experience into bullet points, and AI tools built on top of them inherit that flaw. UnBullet fixes this. Candidates write their full professional story once — and AI matches them to roles automatically. Hiring managers get a ranked shortlist and pre-screen candidates by talking directly to the AI. No screening calls. No HR bottleneck. Write your story once. Let the right roles find you.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 We're Georgios and Vasilis, co-founders of UnBullet. Thanks for having us here. The honest answer to "what inspired this" is frustration — and we both felt it firsthand. We worked together and faced the same problem every time we needed to hire. Hundreds of CVs would land in our inbox, most of them formatted identically, optimised for keywords rather than humans. We'd spend days scanning bullet points trying to find signal in the noise. Then came the screening calls. Then the HR back-and-forth. Six weeks later we'd maybe have a shortlist. The problem wasn't a lack of candidates. It was a lack of real information about them. A CV is a terrible instrument. It compresses years of experience, decisions, failures, and growth into a handful of bullet points. And every AI tool built on top of it inherits that flaw — garbage in, garbage out. So we asked a simple question: what if candidates just told their story? UnBullet lets candidates write their full professional narrative — once, in their own words. Every project they delivered, every problem they solved, every difficult situation they navigated. The AI reads all of it and matches them to roles automatically. Hiring managers get a ranked shortlist and can pre-screen any candidate by having a direct conversation with the AI — no scheduling, no screening calls, no HR bottleneck. We also built something we're particularly proud of: incognito mode. Candidates can stay anonymous until a hiring manager sends a reveal request. They decide whether to accept. The best candidates are often currently employed — this gives them a safe way to be discoverable without the risk. We're in beta and genuinely hungry for feedback — especially from hiring managers who've lived this pain firsthand. What's the most broken part of hiring in your experience? Would love to hear from both sides of the table. 🙏

Comment highlights

I like the idea of making recruitment more narrative-driven instead of keyword-focused. This could help candidates present their actual experiences more authentically.
