Hey everyone, this is Wendy, and together with my co-founder Hua ( @huashu), we are happy to present you Typogram, a next-generation, DIY (design-it-yourself) logo design tool.
After working on this product tirelessly for 12 months, Typogram is finally ready for the official launch to the Product Hunt community. Prior to Typogram, Hua and I both were professional designers. We spent decades working in the design industry and perfecting our craft. We never understood why logo design tools always have to be so polarizing: it is either very complicated, like Adobe Illustrator (no offense to my former employer!), or way too simple, like logo generators where you choose a name, an icon and color, and voila — randomly generated logos splash your screen to “choose from.” Where should people turn to when they want to create a high-quality professional logo that actually works and can hold up over time?

We created Typogram to fill the middle ground. We package our design skills and learning throughout our career and professional brand design workflow into a tool. Typogram is a decent tool for making graphics for various purposes. I use it occasionally to make some flyers, logos, and social media posts. It is fairly easy to use and has some nice features that help me create decent graphics.

- It has a preview mode that shows me how my design will look on different devices and platforms.
- It has a cloud storage feature that lets me access my projects from anywhere and share them with others.
- It requires an internet connection to work, which can be annoying if the connection is slow or unstable.
- It sometimes crashes or freezes when I try to load or save large files, which can be annoying and cause me to lose my work.
- It has a limited number of free templates and fonts, which can be boring if I want more variety or options.
