Fixes text typed in the wrong keyboard layout on Mac
Forgot to switch keyboard layouts? Typoflip notices it at the end of the word, fixes what you already typed and switches the layout for you. Typed a whole line wrong? Press Shift twice. Works everywhere you type, including Terminal and code editors, and pauses in password fields. English + Czech, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Russian, Spanish, Turkish or Ukrainian. Free for a month without a card, then €1 a month.
Hi Product Hunt! I'm Péter, the maker of Typoflip.
I type in Hungarian and English every day, and I lose count of how often I type half a sentence in the wrong keyboard layout before I notice. Typoflip sits in the menu bar and fixes that for me:
- At the end of each word it checks whether it was typed in the wrong layout. If so, it rewrites it and switches the layout, so you keep typing without stopping.
- Typed a whole line wrong? Press Shift twice to fix it, and twice again to undo.
- It works everywhere you type, including Terminal and code editors, and pauses in password fields.
- English pairs with Czech, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Russian, Spanish, Turkish or Ukrainian.
The first month is free with no account and no card, then it's €1 a month for up to 5 Macs.
I'd love your feedback, especially if you type in one of these languages: where does it get your words wrong?
