I’m a solo developer and I spend way too much time testing my speed on various typing sites. I’ve always loved Monkeytype, but I wanted to challenge myself to build something a bit more visually immersive that I could play live with my friends.
So over the last few months, I built Typista from scratch!
I really wanted the aesthetics to match the premium feel of a good custom mechanical keyboard, so I spent a ton of time polishing the UI. It features:
