I built TypeCam to make an iPhone-to-OBS setup simpler: one cable, a clean interface, and control over your camera.
Connect your iPhone to your Mac over USB, open TypeCam, and add it as a source in OBS using the companion plugin. It supports up to 4K60, synced mic audio, manual camera controls, and preview assists like focus peaking and zebras.
The project is open source, and the iPhone app is on the App Store.
