Turistar is a free, open-source travel planner for building trips together. Create a day-by-day itinerary with drag and drop, search and map places, track your trip budget, and collaborate in real time. Plans stay private by default, and when you're ready, you can publish a read-only itinerary with a shareable link.

Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I built Turistar because planning a trip with other people usually ends up scattered across spreadsheets, maps, notes, and group chats. I wanted one place where the itinerary itself stays at the center: organize each day visually, drag activities as plans change, see every stop on a map, keep the budget visible, and edit the trip together in real time. Turistar is free and open source. Plans are private by default, but you can publish a read-only itinerary when you want to share the final version. This is still a product I actively use and improve, so I’d especially love feedback on the planning workflow: what feels natural, what gets in the way, and what you’d want before using it for a real trip. Thanks for checking it out!
