I’ve always enjoyed playing Tavla with friends and family, but I wanted a version that felt truly at home on Apple devices — modern, simple and personal.
That idea became Turbo Tavla. What started as a classic backgammon game gradually grew into much more: online matches with Game Center, local multiplayer, different AI difficulty levels, SharePlay, customization, leaderboards and a guided tutorial for new players.
Throughout development, my focus shifted from simply recreating backgammon to creating an experience that combines the traditional game I love with the features and design people expect from a modern iPhone and iPad app.
Turbo Tavla is my attempt to make a timeless game feel fresh again — while keeping the simplicity that makes it so much fun in the first place. 🎲
