Hey Product Hunt! 👋

I'm super excited to share tug.sh with you all today!

As developers, we love setting up micro VPSs for side projects or client builds. But every time I looked for a modern management UI, I hit the same two walls:

Resource Bloat: Traditional panels eat up 500MB+ of RAM just idling, defeating the point of a lightweight $4–$5 VPS.

Setup Friction: Managing root SSH access, complex networking, and heavy agents felt like a chore.

So I built tug.sh—a ultra-lightweight Docker & VPS management platform designed for speed, simplicity, and low overhead.

⚓ What makes tug.sh different?

Ultra-Lightweight Go Agent: Uses under 20MB of RAM. It runs effortlessly even on tiny $3–$4 cloud instances.

One-Command Setup: Run a single command on a clean server. It automatically provisions Docker, sets up the network, and connects to your dark-mode dashboard in seconds.

Zero SSH Keys Stored: Built on outbound WebSocket connections. You keep full root privacy without leaving persistent SSH access open.

Transparent Pricing: 100% Free forever for your first server (Free Sandbox). Scale at a flat $4/mo per additional server.

🛠️ The Tech Stack

Dashboard: Next.js + Tailwind CSS (Slate/Zinc dark aesthetic).
Backend: Go (for raw performance and zero-overhead API handling).
Agent: Open-source Go daemon running directly on your host nodes.

I’d love for you to give it a spin, try the 1-command installer on a fresh VPS, and let me know what you think!

What feature would you like to see next in tug.sh? I’ll be here all day answering your questions and taking feedback!

Full speed ahead! 🚢

Who hunted tug.sh?

tug.sh was hunted by Łukasz Oleniuk. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
