Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I’m excited to share TubeTutor AI, a project I built to solve a problem I kept running into: useful knowledge is often buried inside long tutorial videos.
I come from a video post-production background and started learning how to build AI products as a solo maker. While learning from YouTube, I found that ordinary video summaries often missed the most important details—specific steps, tools, prompts, commands, websites, and what was actually happening on screen.
That led me to build TubeTutor.
Paste a YouTube link and TubeTutor creates a reusable learning workspace with:
• Synchronized transcripts and multilingual subtitles
• AI summaries and key takeaways
• Clickable chapters and timestamps
• Visual analysis of tools, prompts, code, websites, and on-screen steps
• Editable mind maps and structured study notes
• Timestamped personal notes
• Exports and Notion synchronization
TubeTutor is especially designed for tutorials, educational videos, software walkthroughs, lectures, and other videos where the details matter.
There is a free plan available, so you can try the basic workflow before upgrading.
I’d really appreciate your feedback—especially on the visual analysis, mind map experience, and which parts of long tutorial videos you most want AI to extract.
Thanks for checking out TubeTutor! 🙌
Pasted a 2-hour coding tutorial and the chapter breakdown was spot on, saved me tons of scrubbing time. The Notion sync makes it feel like it actually fits into my workflow.
The mind map generation paired with timestamped notes is a really thoughtful pairing, makes it feel like you're actually building a study system rather than just getting a summary. Love the Notion sync too.
