Tryst is a date planner for couples who want to stop winging it. Pick a vibe, pick from 530+ date ideas, find a venue, set a time — and Tryst holds the reservation, the gift, and the card task separately so nothing falls through. Everything stays on your phone. No account, no tracking.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
Maker here. I built Tryst because I kept failing my partner in the same boring way: Friday would roll around, I cared, but I had no system — same restaurant, same "we should try something new," same nothing.
A few things I made specific choices about:
**On-device. No account.** No sign-up, no server, no tracking. Your plans live on your phone. If you want sync across iPhone + iPad, it goes through your own iCloud — never through me.
**Stage-aware.** First date, dating, engaged, married — the recommendations and copy shift to match where you actually are. Year 1 anniversary prep is different from year 12.
**Big-day mode.** Tryst nudges you 6 weeks out, 4 weeks out, 3 days out for Valentine's, anniversaries, and birthdays. The reservation, the gift, and the card are three separate tasks — you can't tick "done" on something you haven't actually done.
**No swipe.** Swipe is the underlying issue with dating culture — quick pick, no thought. Tryst is built for the opposite: showing up on purpose.
It's free for the first 30 days, then $4.99/mo or $39.99/yr. I'd love your feedback — what works, what's confusing, what should be there but isn't.
Happy to answer anything. 🙏
