I'm the maker behind TrustLens, and I built this because I was tired of seeing my family and friends fall for the same misinformation traps — urgency scams, fake health cures, political manipulation — and feeling helpless.
The problem? Most fact-checking tools either:
1. Require you to hand over your data.
2. Are too slow and complex for everyday use.
3. Use black-box AI that you can't understand or trust.
So I built TrustLens with one rule: **privacy first, always.**
Every analysis runs locally in your browser. No login. No cookies. No tracking. No data leaves your device. Ever.
We detect manipulation patterns (urgency language, sensationalism, chain-message indicators, unverified health claims) and show you exactly which signals triggered the alert — so you learn to spot misinformation yourself, not just rely on a tool.
