Trusted Carers
Find childminders, nannies and carers across Ireland
Trusted Carers is an online marketplace that connects families across Ireland with childminders, babysitters, nannies, au pairs and elderly carers. It also lists pet minders, tutors and housekeepers. Families post their care needs for free, search carers by county and town, compare experience and hourly rates, and message carers directly. Carers can apply for Garda vetting through the site and show a Garda Vetting badge on their profile.
Finding someone you can trust to look after your kids, your parents or even your dog is stressful, and in Ireland most families still rely on word of mouth or Facebook groups. Trusted Carers is an Ireland-wide marketplace where families can find childminders, nannies, babysitters, au pairs, elderly carers, pet minders, tutors and housekeepers in one place.
Families can post what they need for free and browse carers near them. We can also process Garda vetting for carers as a registered organisation, so families have more peace of mind.
We'd love your feedback, especially from parents and anyone who has hired a carer before. What matters most to you when choosing someone?

Who hunted Trusted Carers?
Trusted Carers was hunted by Amber Walsh. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
