Truffle recognizes each track by its sound and checks eight sources to fix titles, artists, albums, genres, covers, tempo and key. Works with Apple Music, local folders, rekordbox, Serato and Traktor. Nothing is written until you confirm.
Hi Product Hunt, I'm Marian, a hobby DJ and developer from Vienna.
My music library grew over twenty years: ripped CDs, old iTunes imports, DJ downloads. Thousands of tracks had generic titles, no cover, the wrong artist, or showed up three times. Fixing that by hand never ended, so I built Truffle.
It recognizes each track by its sound, compares eight sources and suggests one value per field. You see every change before anything is written, and you can roll it back later. Tempo and key are measured on your Mac, without internet. It works on your Apple Music library or just on folders you pick, and reads rekordbox, Serato and Traktor. It even recognizes classical recordings: work titles with catalog numbers, orchestra and conductor.
Free to try: analyze 100 tracks and write 20, no feature locked. The full version is a one-time purchase, no subscription. No account, no tracking. Mac only (macOS 14 or newer, Apple Silicon).
I'd love to hear what your library throws at it, especially the weird cases.

Who hunted Truffle?
Truffle was hunted by Marian Hildebrand. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
