Explore a location-aware live geocentricarium with clocks, a daily calendar, orbital tracking, weather, Earth activity, and regional respiratory-virus data.
Hey Product Hunt community! 👋
I built Live Geocentricarium as a free web app to help people visualize and connect with the night sky relative to their physical position on Earth.
Why I built it:
I wanted to make observational astronomy and Earth science accessible to everyone—especially students, stargazers, and curiosity-seekers who don't have access to an expensive telescope or live in areas with heavy light pollution.
Key Features:
🌌 Celestial Mechanics: Live geocentric positioning for planets, zodiac constellations, moon phases, and ISS/satellite tracking relative to where you stand.
🌍 Earth & Science Metrics: Real-time local weather data (UV index, humidity, temp, wind) alongside live seismic/earthquake tracking.
🚀 Space Events: Integrated live rocket launch data and space mission updates.
🎓 100% Free & Open: No account creation, downloads, or sign-ups required.
