We built Trip Logbook because we needed a mileage tracker ourselves.
For our business, keeping an accurate mileage log wasn't just about recording distance. We needed precise start and end times for every trip, and the apps available at the time didn't meet all our requirements.
Your phone is always with you when you drive, and it has powerful hardware and software capabilities, why not put them to full use and take care of this tedious task entirely? So we built Trip Logbook to automate the entire process; capturing trips accurately, effortlessly, and reliably in the background.
We wanted users to have complete access to their data. Trip Logbook can generate tax-ready reports with a single tap, or export everything to CSV for further analysis and custom formatting in any spreadsheet application.
Privacy was just as important to us. While most mileage trackers store your data in the cloud, many people consider personal location data too sensitive for that. That's why we built Trip Logbook with a privacy-first approach: your data stays on your device, under your control, with simple backup and restore features to keep it safe.
