Hey, PH community! And thank you, Rohan, for the hunt! If you're already aboard the Trickle train or have followed our past launches, you may have noticed that we've made a significant pivot and are heading to a new path. Making this call wasn't easy. Over the past 18 months, a mix of eagerness and anxiety led us astray, causing us to clutter Trickle with too many "productivity" features, making it bulky. Now, we've taken a step back and decided to focus on only one problem. Now Trickle is designed for people who frequently snap screenshots for later use and struggle with managing and finding them from the depths of buried folders. With Trickle, your ever-growing collection of screenshots is effortlessly managed. Leveraging the latest OCR tech and the reasoning capabilities of GPT-4, turn your screenshots into "visual memos" that are both readable and searchable. Here's how Trickle works: - 📷 Snap or drop your screenshots into Trickle. - ✨ Delight in crisp AI-generated digests. - 🔍 Easily browse, search, and ask. But our aspirations go beyond this. Given that humans are naturally inclined to comprehend the world via visuals, continuously grasping fragmented info, we aim to harness visual captures and AI to enhance this fragmented info's collection, extraction, and utility. Screenshots stand as our first step in realizing this vision. Under this vision, our commitment is to: - Simplify and streamline the acquisition, access, and organization of information. - Ensure memory retrieval aligns with human cognition. - Magnify the value derived from the application of this knowledge. A quick sneak peek at our roadmap: We're on the brink of launching both a Mac client and an iPhone app. With features for auto-syncing and on-device storage options, you'll have an even more secure and efficient way to manage and leverage the information in your screenshots. Cheers, Jarod

Congratulations guys! The launch is looking awesome, and I've witnessed the effort that you've been through the last months here on product hunt. Cheers for that absolutely deserved #1 Product of the Day! :)

Very interesting. Will you develop a higher-level automatic categorization function to make screenshots more searchable within the main folder?

Good idea to build a personal searchable library of screenshots! I’m already utilizing that fully with rewind and mymind though. Rewind making screenshots automatically and mymind got all of the bookmarks in there along with screenshots and even pictures straight from the camera. Great application of ai though

Congrats on the launch 🎉 So excited to test this out. I'm drowning in screenshots with product and design inspiration and dream of an easier way to utilize them!

Congrats on the launch. Looks like Trickle could be a big help with organising my mountains of screen shots.

@ming_xu1 @All_Trickler Congratulations, my friends. Proud to have been a team member. You have created an excellent product.

Can you spotlight on how Trickle's unique features enhance my workflow? I'm excited to give Trickle a go!

Interesting tool! I always like taking screenshots, but I admit I'm too lazy to organize them. I'm really hoping it can save me from my screenshot chaos.

Wow, Trickle's concept is intriguing! Transforming heaps of screenshots into a searchable archive sounds amazing. 🚀 While I haven't tried it yet, a suggestion for the team: perhaps considering a feature that integrates with cloud storage platforms, like Dropbox or Google Drive, could be beneficial for users who store a lot of their images there. Keep up the good work! 👍📸

Wow, this is awesome. Love the name too. What new features do you have planned for it? How does the future look for Trickle?
