Hi Product Hunt community! 👋
I’m the developer of Trench Tycoon, and I’m incredibly excited to share my game with you today!
Trench Tycoon is a deep-sea mining simulation game where you journey from lighting a single lantern to building a thriving city on the seafloor.
As a big fan of the tycoon genre, I wanted to create an experience that feels rewarding both when you are playing and when you are away. Here are a few things I focused on while developing this game:
• Real Logistics & Optimization: It’s not just about buying the most expensive upgrade. You need to find and fix the exact bottlenecks in your production chain—extracting, collecting, transporting, and refining.
• Hand-Coded Art & Atmospheric Depths: Every asset and animation on the screen is fully drawn in code! As you dive deeper—all the way down to Challenger Deep—the water darkens, and the scenery shifts into something stranger and more beautiful.
• Skill-Based Mini-Games: Whenever you want a break from managing logistics, our octopus foreman has a job board full of quick, fun mini-games that rely entirely on your skills.
• Fair by Design: I hate forced ads as much as you do. The game features absolutely zero forced ads or paywalls. Everything can be unlocked naturally through gameplay.
I’m continuously updating the game (we just dropped version 1.2.0 with brand new deep-trench forms!) and I would love to hear your honest feedback. What do you think of the mechanics? What should we add to the abyss next?
Thank you so much for checking it out, and see you in the Challenger Deep! 🌊🐙

Who hunted Trench Tycoon?
Trench Tycoon was hunted by machapucharelabs.
