Pretty cool! And nice execution. I wonder if the best business model for it would be selling it as a service that other businesses can easily incorporate into their app. (Or maybe they just offer to acquire you :D)
TravelBoast has offered route-animation videos since 2022. The UX and 3D assets feel similar—are your 3D models original/in-house (or licensed), and what’s the main innovation vs existing apps?
I saw your animation on Instagram 🙂 Very nice and high-quality animation.
This looks super useful for travel vloggers and content creators! Quick question - can you customize the animation speed or add custom waypoints between destinations? Would love to use this for documenting road trips!
@jaseel_sk I just downloaded the app and gave it a shot. So cool! Will definitely use it in my future trips
this looks fun! i see there is the ability to upload gpx to do this? i wanna turn my running route to animation :)
Congrats on the launch guys! This looks so cool. I travel a lot lately and it seems something fun i could use for a change.
It looks very interesting. I have thought about how to present every trip in 3D animation before, and I found this feeling here.✨
Your product leans hard into “make it look premium fast” (styles, 3D vehicles, photos, 4K). How did you prioritize visual polish vs. route-editing power early on, and what feature requests have forced the hardest tradeoffs?
The packaging looks fresh, but I don't quite get who this is for?
For content creators wanting to create a video?
Like, it doesn't help me arrive better at my destination, does it?
This feels perfect for travel agencies and solo creators alike. Who’s been your most active user group so far?

Hello Everyone,
Jaseel, one of the creators.
As surprising as it may seem, there is no good solution, yet that takes a Google map URL and makes a good travel video out of it.
TravelAnimator already made videos by dragging lines across waypoints and destinations, but stitching them together to work with Google Maps wasn't easy.
By default, for the free version, you can upload a Google Maps link either from travelanimator.com or in the routes menu on the top right after onboarding and use one of the free models to showcase the travel journey. With the paid version, you can switch from the free models to the paid one, plus access other features.
If there is enough demand for this feature, we will look into supporting multiple Google Maps links, though it can get complex, especially if the two Google Maps links are not connected.
Right now, you can't edit Google Maps routes. We hope to add that as an improvement in the future.
Here are all the other features that you can try:
- Try out 30+ cool maps
- Over 250+ realistic models.
- Upload images for each waypoint that you stop at.
- Try out different kinds of zooms.
- Import GPX files
- 4K & HD exports
- Different aspect ratio support
- Flat & Globe Modes
- Place Labels
- Country Highlight
- Route line customizations
