I built TrainTeam after watching how much time grassroots football coaches lose to admin that has nothing to do with football.
The typical setup at a small club looks like this: a WhatsApp group where "who's coming on Saturday?" gets buried under 40 messages, a spreadsheet with attendance that nobody updates, and a coach counting heads the morning of the match. Volunteers spend their evenings chasing parents instead of planning sessions.
TrainTeam puts that in one place:
• Plan training and matches, with sessions and locations attached
• Players and parents confirm availability in one tap — no app install needed on their side
• Build the matchday squad and send call-ups to just the people involved
• Attendance stats per player and per team, so you actually know who's showing up
Everyone gets a view built for their role — a parent sees "is training on tomorrow?", a coach sees the whole squad, a club sees every team at once.
Two things I'd especially like feedback on:
Is the free tier (1 team, up to 40 people) enough to genuinely run a season, or should it be more generous?
For coaches here — what's the one admin task you'd hand off tomorrow if you could?

The squad selection flow feels really well thought out, especially how availability carries over into lineup decisions without extra steps. Great execution for something coaches will actually use week to week.
