Built this after blowing multiple funded and prop account.
It was the same story every time. I'd have a rough New York session morning, get frustrated, and start sizing way up to win it back. By the time I calmed down the account was already gone. My strategy was fine. My discipline at random time of the day was the problem.
I tried journals but they just show you the damage after it's done. I tried a risk EA on a VPS but I'd turn it off the second I was tilting. Nothing actually stopped me.
So I made TradeNRisk. It connects to your MT5 account and holds your own rules for you. You set a daily loss limit, and when you hit it the app closes your trades and locks the account until the next day. It runs in the cloud so there's no EA to switch off and no VPS to pay for. Works with FTMO, FundingPips, PuPrime, Pepperstone and pretty much any MT5 broker.
Takes about 5 minutes to set up. I'd genuinely like to hear what rules other traders would want it to enforce, since I'm building this around what actually keeps people from blowing accounts.
