I built Trade Grid because I was tired of jumping between news headlines, stock charts, and options data every morning just to get a rough sense of which way a stock or sector was leaning before the market opened.
What it does:
Trade Grid pulls live news for Indian bank and finance stocks, scores the sentiment of each headline, and combines that with price action and options positioning (IV, PCR, OI) to generate a clear trade bias — bullish (CE) or bearish (PE) — for each stock. It also rolls this up into a sector-level heatmap, so you can see at a glance whether buyers are favoring Banking & Finance, Energy, Metals, etc. today, not just individual tickers.
What's different:
Most sentiment tools just show you a "positive/negative" news score. Trade Grid goes a step further — it factors in event risk (results days, RBI policy days), contradiction detection (mixed strong-positive and strong-negative news), and a rolling accuracy tracker so you can see how the signals have actually performed over the last 30 days, not just trust them blindly.
Where it's headed:
This started as a personal tool to save myself time before market open, and I'm now opening it up to see if other traders find it useful. Options data is currently simulated in some places while I work on a live data integration being upfront about that since accuracy matters a lot for this kind of tool.
