I'm Tabassum Khanum, a Product Lead based in India. I built Trackfolio while actively job searching for PM roles — and honestly, the inspiration was frustration.
I was applying to 40+ roles, rewriting cover letters from scratch every single time, cold emailing hiring managers with no system, and prepping for interviews by scrolling through my own notes at midnight. My "tracker" was a Google Sheet that died by week two.
Every job tracker I tried was just a Kanban board. Track, drag, done. But nobody was solving the actual painful parts — the writing, the outreach, the prep.
So I built what I actually needed.
Trackfolio is a job tracker with an AI assistant built into the pipeline:

How it evolved: I started with just the tracker. But every morning I'd catch myself leaving the app to write a cover letter in ChatGPT, then pasting it into Docs, then copying it into a form. That back-and-forth is what killed my process. So the AI assistant became the core — everything happens inside one panel without switching tools.
This is a solo build. Next.js, Vercel, free to use. I'm my own daily power user.
