Hey Product Hunt, I’m one of the people behind TrackBin.
We started building this after seeing how many rental operators were still running real businesses on whiteboards, spreadsheets, paper tickets, and phone calls. That works for a while, until one overdue dumpster, lift, trailer, or generator gets missed and suddenly you are losing hundreds of dollars per day on an asset that should already be back in rotation. A lot of these teams were not asking for “digital transformation.” They just wanted to stop losing money because the operational picture was scattered across too many places.
TrackBin is for the operator with 10 to 100 bins, units, or machines who is done guessing where things are. We built it for dumpster rental, portable sanitation, heavy equipment, tools and trailers, and AV rental businesses that need a clear daily view of what is deployed, what is overdue, what is available, and what needs to be picked up next.
What makes TrackBin different is that we kept it practical. It is one flat price at $89/month, there is no sales call required to get started, and the setup is self-serve. We also support multiple rental verticals instead of forcing a company into a tool that only makes sense if they do one asset type forever. And yes, we include native iOS and Android apps because a lot of this work happens away from a desk.
We are also trying to stay honest about what is still coming. QuickBooks integration, SMS alerts, and payment processing are on the roadmap and not something we are pretending is fully done today.
If you run a rental business, I’d love for you to try it and tell us what feels useful, what feels clunky, and what is missing. If you have built software for operations-heavy businesses, I’d especially love your feedback on onboarding and product clarity.
You can start a free 14-day trial with no credit card required. Thanks for checking it out.
How does TrackBin handle the handoff when a customer returns something damaged or missing pieces? Curious if that’s tracked inside the same flow or if it kicks off a separate claims process.
Finally something that pulls quotes, dispatches, and overdue pickups into the same view without a mess of spreadsheets. The overdue pickup alert is genuinely useful, would have saved me hours last week.

Who hunted TrackBin?
TrackBin was hunted by Blas Cuagliarella. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
