Track Country Days
Automatic country & day tracker for visas and tax residency
Track the days you spend in every country, automatically. Track Country Days marks where you are each day for Schengen, visa, and tax-residency limits — and keeps it all on your device.
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I built this because I could never answer a simple question: how many days have I been in the Schengen area? My records were a mix of memory, boarding passes, and a spreadsheet I updated whenever I remembered to — which meant it was always a little wrong, and I only found out when the number actually mattered.
If you cross borders often, your life quietly runs on day counts: 90 days in any 180 in Schengen, 183 for tax residency, whatever your visa says. The counting is tedious and getting it wrong is expensive — an overstay can mean an entry ban, and a miscounted tax year is real money.
Most tools ask you to log every trip by hand. That's exactly the thing you forget to do, right up until you need the number.
So this one counts for you. Turn on location once and it records the country (and US state) you were in each day, in the background, even if you never open the app. Already lost a year? It can read the capture date and location from your photo library and fill the days back in.
Two decisions I'd defend:
No account, no server. Your days, notes and history are stored on your device, not mine. I built it so I never see your travel data. The trade-off is real — there's no sync between devices, just an export file you control.
It tracks, it doesn't advise. It tells you how many days you've used. It won't tell you whether you're allowed in. That line matters in this category.
It's free to use, with a Pro subscription for CSV export and longer date ranges. iOS and Android, 13 languages.
For Product Hunt: the code PRODUCTHUNT gives 3 months of Pro free — then $29.99/year, cancel anytime. New subscribers, until Oct 9.
• iOS: [paste your redemption link from App Store Connect] — opens the App Store with the code already filled in.
• Android: open the app → Upgrade to Pro → start the purchase → tap the payment method → Redeem → enter the code.
I'd genuinely like to hear: which limit do you have to track, and does the automatic tracking hold up on your travel patterns? Happy to answer anything here today.
