For recruiters and employers, TraceScout also provides tools to evaluate candidate-job alignment and manage candidates through the hiring process.
I built TraceScout after seeing how frustrating job searching can be. People can spend hours applying for roles without really knowing whether their experience matches what an employer is looking for. At the same time, a resume may contain valuable experience that gets overlooked simply because it isn't presented clearly for a particular role.
I wanted to build something more transparent. TraceScout helps job seekers find real opportunities that match their resume, gives them a 0–100 match score, and—more importantly—shows why they match by highlighting strengths and gaps.
The goal isn't to promise someone a job or make a resume say something that isn't true. It's to help people make better-informed decisions about where to apply and present their real experience more effectively.
As we developed the platform, the idea grew beyond job discovery. We added tools for recruiters and employers so they can evaluate candidate-job alignment and manage candidates through the hiring process as well.
TraceScout is still evolving, and I'd genuinely appreciate feedback from the Product Hunt community—especially on the matching experience and what would make the job search process more useful.
