TraceForge reads PDF, DOCX, TXT, or Markdown requirements locally, flags unclear or unverifiable statements, generates linked verification cases, preserves source citations, and exports a traceability matrix. Built for small medical-device software teams preparing for audits, submissions, or verification reviews. AI enrichment is optional and disabled by default; the first paid offer is a $490 human-reviewed pre-audit gap report.

Top comment

I built TraceForge to make SRS review more concrete before an audit: find unclear requirements, link them to verification cases, and preserve the source citation. It runs locally by default, so teams can start with a sanitized or non-confidential sample. I’m looking for feedback from QA, regulatory, and software-compliance teams: which requirement would create the most audit risk if it stayed unclear? AI enrichment is optional and disabled by default; generated cases are drafts until reviewed.

Who hunted TraceForge?

TraceForge was hunted by Mohammad Shahzeb. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
