Tracebook
Codebase understanding through source-grounded stories
I watched my teams move away from writing code. Modern software is increasingly inherited, generated, and changed by people who did not write the underlying code. So they no longer struggle with writing a lot of code. They struggle with understanding current behavior well enough to guide the next change.
Most people will never read "the code", or understand all of it, or even any of it. Tracebook is for people who still need a checkable mental model before asking an engineer, an API model, or a local coding model to act.

Who hunted Tracebook?
Tracebook was hunted by Sandro Pasquali. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
